Breakfast Bliss: Revisiting Laoban by Uncle Osh

Last weekend, my boyfriend and I went to have breakfast at a place we had tried before and loved, called Laoban by Uncle Osh. Arriving just after 8:20, we were quite surprised at how nearly packed the restaurant was. Luckily for us, there were still a few available seats indoors. We were both hungry and excited!

Our first experience with the food there had left us astounded—there was no doubt in our minds that we would enjoy many delicious dishes again. After finishing our breakfast, yep, my boyfriend and I were both fully satiated! All the dishes were as comforting as before, although we weren’t quite as amazed this time. I suppose nothing really beats a first experience, food included.

So, our orders:

Kulit Tahu / Tofu Skin (IDR 20,000, excluding tax)

Mie Ayam Hainan / Hainan-style Chicken Noodles (IDR 34,000, excluding tax)

Sugar Butter Toast (IDR 18,000, excluding tax)

At the end of the day, my boyfriend and I both agreed that we would definitely come back. Comfort food is still comfort food, right? We both love the mie ayam hainan and the toast—they're so comforting.
