I Accidentally Made a SpongeBob-Like Pencil Case

I hope you don’t get sick of me talking about crochet (almost) all the time now. I mean, I’m currently deep in my crocheting era, and I just love sharing my obsession here on this blog. So here we go again—my fourth small project of a lifetime. Nothing major, nothing big, just a small yellow pencil case to store my hook and other stuff. 

It’s not that pretty, and I know that’s on me. I was just looking for something quick to make while waiting for my four balls of brand-new blue cotton to arrive, and this seemed like something I could finish overnight. 

And yes, that was true. But yes, crocheting it without bothering to count was a big mistake. 

My pencil case ended up looking like SpongeBob after getting beaten up. 

I was happy it was finished, but I realized I should be a little more serious next time. 

P.S. My fifth project is going to be quite a big one. The four balls of blue cotton will (hopefully) turn into something I’m proud of—but it’s going to take time. In the meantime, I promise I’ll talk about something else here. Just wait and see.
