Cracking the Myth: Not All Eggs Are the Same
My mom always says that an egg is an egg, but I'd like to beg to differ.
Recently, I discovered a very different kind of egg. I bought a pack from a brand called Rossa Farm last week solely because the packaging looked cute. Upon further investigation, I uncovered something interesting: these omega eggs came from chickens fed plant-based protein (never knew this was a thing!) and were said to have 75% less cholesterol.
In addition to being a healthier option, they tasted really good too. I wasn’t sure if I was influenced by suggestion, but I’ll definitely be buying these again.
So here were my easy breakfasts this week:
Monday —
An egg, a banana, and a traditional snack called rissole filled with mayonnaise.
I finally bought a small (well, not that small) lunchbox to avoid breaking my egg like I did the other day.
Tuesday —
An egg, a banana, and a snake fruit.
Wednesday —
I brought two eggs and one banana because I ran out of other things to eat.
But look at the egg—pwerfecto!
Thursday —
Well, I ate an egg on Thursday… but this time with a pack of instant noodles. Pardon, pardon. It was a public holiday, and my boyfriend and I needed to run an errand, so we decided to eat something quick.
It was SO good though. Gah, I miss instant noodles so much.
Friday —
I brought two eggs and a mangosteen. The fruit tasted so sweet.
