A Simple Guide to Feeling More Festive

So, I realize it’s already December, and I haven’t written a single Christmas-related post on this blog yet. Since I love Christmas with all my heart (and I believe you do too), let me help you get into the festive spirit (just in case you haven’t caught the contagious cheer yet).

Here are some simple tips you can try:

Buy yourself a festive seasonal drink. I’m thinking peppermint tea or hot chocolate. But if all you can find is the classic chocolate drink, that works too.

Start listening to a really good Christmas playlist. Since I love pop, my go-to songs are definitely Ariana Grande’s Santa Tell Me and Snow in California. It’s Beginning to Look Like Christmas by Michael Bublé is, of course, a must. For the past two years, I’ve also been listening to Sabrina Carpenter’s Fruitcake album.

Read my post about how the Grinch’s minions almost stole my Christmas spirit hereI know, I know, it’s shameless promotion. But hey, who knows? I might actually be inspiring.

Watch a Christmas-themed movie. I watched Zootopia 2  yesterday with my boyfriend and we absolutely loved it. It’s not exactly Christmassy, but there’s snow (and honestly, I see what I want to see). Ha.

On a more mature note, I highly recommend Holidate. I’ve rewatched it approximately a thousand times since it came out.

Don’t forget to check your Spotify Wrapped. It’s that time of the year, folks. And yes, Taylor Swift is my top artist again this year.

And apparently, there’s also a YouTube Wrapped this year! Let’s see what I got.

Start preparing your Christmas gifts early. I mean, Christmas shopping alone elevates the whole mood, and I’m absolutely here for it.
