Soft Life Girl Meets Dumbbells
When I said this year was going to be different, this is not what I had in mind—but this is exactly what I meant.
Two freaking 2 kg dumbbells, y’all. For someone who barely works out.
My mom laughed at me and said, “Let’s see.” So… let’s see.
I started with a 2 km walk this evening.
After that, I followed this video and did a 10-minute dumbbell workout.
This is so not me, but also very me at the same time. Unlike my way-too-sporty little sister, I’m more of a city girl living a soft life aesthetically. But I’m also always down to try new things—especially ones that make my body healthier.
So yeah. This is me… I guess?
Let’s see if I can keep this up. I’m (pretty) confident.
