A Small Corner of Positivity: My Weekly Catering Recap
I actually feel kind of guilty about still posting my regular content while my country is currently in a crisis. But to keep myself sane amid all the terrible, terrible news (read more here), I hope you'll let me preserve this small corner of the internet where I can be my positive self. I promise I'm not turning a blind eye or being tone-deaf about the current situation. I'm using my X account to retweet the news and help it reach a wider (and hopefully international) audience.
In the meantime, let me share my catering report for the last week of August with you:

So far, this week's menu has been my favorite! Everything tasted delicious, especially the crispy chicken with bumbu raos seasoning from Bandung on Tuesday. I would love to have it again. (In Sundanese, we call it ngeunah pisan, meaning "very delicious.")
However, I was a little confused by Friday's menu. Based on the shared document, I was supposed to receive chicken nanban and Chinese cabbage with tofu. What I got was chicken roulade and stir-fried long beans instead. But that was completely fine by me. I assumed the menu change happened for efficiency purposes before the demonstration began. My food came on time that day. Bravo.
Still, it didn't explain why—based on another review posted on Instagram (I'm not sure if it was sponsored)—another customer received five pieces of chicken roulade and Chinese cabbage with tofu. It was odd, but I figured that the demonstration might have had something to do with it. I was still happy with my on-time dishes—they were still delicious.
